MCHENRY, N.D. (KFGO) – Two people died in a head-on crash Sunday afternoon on Highway 52, a mile north of Velva, in north-central North Dakota, The State Patrol said a 32-year-old Minot man was northbound when his SUV crossed into the opposite lane and collided with a car driven by a 41-year-old Velva man. Both were taken to a Minot hospital where they died. The State Patrol said neither man was wearing a seatbelt. The crash happened at about 4:30 p.m.
