Obituaries Dec 7, 2022 Mar. 25, 1931 – Dec. 5, 2022 US NAVY Arthur Varloe, 91, Surrey, died Monday, December 5, 2022, in a Minot nursing home. Arthur was born March 25, 1931, in Van Hook, North Dakota to Borger and Olga (Hveem) Varloe. He spent the years of his youth in Van Hook and completed his formal education. Art enlisted into the US Navy on November 14, 1951. He served aboard the USS Pittsburgh and was accorded the Navy Occupation, China Service and National Defense Medals during his service as a fireman.
