Needed a rental car to get home to Williston from Minot. I normally rent from Enterprise because they always take care of the customer first. Unfortunately, Avis was my only option and I received the lackluster service I expected. I was originally told it would be $170 for my 2 hour, one way drive to Williston in their cheapest option. Once I arrived at the branch I asked if there was any cheaper option, then they Avis rep. gave me a Ford Focus for $106 for my 2 hour drive. I didn't care what kind of vehicle, but that seems insanely expensive for a 2 hour drive, using 4 gallons of fuel. Not only that, but I felt very uncomfortable and unsafe the entire time as the Focus had an airbag maintenance light on. The Avis rep. never even stepped outside with me. I never rented with Avis before and I never will again.
